Um, this is going to be something different from the normal schedule which would be some topic I write about something I like. This time I will be talking about graduating high school because of this grade I don’t need but will receive from my Journalism teacher. Rather than me being in a normal high school, I am in one where I have to take useless classes that fill up my schedule rather than taking the classes I do need for me to graduate. If you didn’t know, normal schools will be able to allow students to take only the classes they need to graduate and just leave. The credits you do need to go to college are Government/Economics, English, and Gym. Students would normally go to school for those three classes and just leave earlier than any other grade in high school. But because we have a principle which doesn’t believe in those standards, he decided to have everyone in the school graduate with more than enough credits. This idea was the thing that pissed me off about him. I have all my friends spending all their time outside of the prison we call school and I’m stuck in here doing more work than the average senior. Even though I am stuck here, slowly losing my sanity, I still manage to resist the idea of leaving school when I am finished with the classes I need credits for.

Hmmm… how would I describe the life I live, well first things first, life isn’t fair and I’ve learned that at a young age because of my family status and power in society being the bottom of the hierarchy. I am lucky to be born in America and especially New York because where my parents lived, they have suffered enough so they came here for new opportunities. Although I’m not an immigrant, to people I don’t know, I would joke that I am by describing my mother swam here over the ocean from Hong Kong with rippling muscles and pregnant with me in her stomach.

When I was young, I have been exposed to the American dream and having the idea that white people are superior with no other variety of races in stories with their presence making up society. Everything was exposed to me in a way where I never thought twice about it but just accepted the cruel reality we live in. For the belief of the Tooth Fairy, I remember the memory of losing my teeth and putting it under the pillow waking up to the tooth being there. After that, I decided to give up on all the beliefs that white people tried to brainwash me with.

With that idea in my head, I decided to rethink the life I lived and understood everything out there that I needed to know. With the resources that I was exposed to, I had decided that the reality everyone tells me about in school was a lie and everything that I would dream of would not come true because society would push you down depending on your race, gender, or your amount of income. This world keeps its secrets from others which makes this world untrustworthy. With the internet, I’ve gain so much knowledge about the world and how people with connections become powerful in this world. I needed to become someone who people could supply sources that others couldn’t because if I wasn’t I would become the trash that would stop me from going up in the hierarchy.

Wojak is another old but popular meme which is like Pepe the Frog. It is also known as feels guy. It is a meme that shows a white guy that shows him expressing emotions and there are pictures of him crying or as him being lonely. Pepe the Frog and Wojak are usually a pair of memes that work together.

The history of Wojak originated with the nickname of a Polish man in the international section of Krautchan. When he posted the picture of the cartoon, it was later on known as Wojak and as “that feel when…” It started trending when it spread around the internet around 2011 through 4chan. The meme is used as emotions about 2 Wojaks hugging each other and feeling what they feel. The popularity of it was mostly from games that others would understand how it would feel like such as reactions towards it in a sad feeling that others can connect to. It also gained its fame through Donald Trump supporters because others used it against them by copying the alleged herd mentality of the liberal activists.

Wojak is a meme that is a gray man with a pointy nose with no expression on his face usually with crying, having others by his side understanding how he feels, wearing a mask that hides his real face with a fake one, etc. The meme is usually used towards something like a story or a game because others understand what it is about and others feel the same way. Sometimes it is used as a reaction on a post or just used for other pictures representing “I feel you, bro.” There many different types of pictures of Wojak being someone else such as pictures with Pepe the Frog.

First things first, I have to start with the classic meme of Pepe the frog. He is an original meme of a frog that looks humanoid which had been originated in a comic made by Matt Furie named “Boy Club”. The reason why it got well known was because it had spread throughout Myspace, Gaia Online, and 4chan during 2008 but it wasn’t until 2015 where it was one of the most popular memes.

The meme had included Pepe the frog being in different emotional states such as Pepe being happy, sad, or angry with a quote of “feels good/bad man”. The history of the meme has changed many times changing into a hateful and racist symbol. Many times has the meme evolved into reactions towards something that people feels sad about.

Nowadays, the meme is used in a website named Twitch which was made for streamers and pepe is used as emotions.

Memes originated in a book named “The Selfish Gene” created by Richard Dawkins which was meant to explain the spread of cultural information. It was later changed to a viral widespread of jokes or ideas by the internet. When it started out, everyone pronounced it differently such as “me-me” or “meh-meh”. The French word for it means “similar” or “alike” while the Greek’s definition of it means “imitated”.

Memes have turned into pictures of jokes which involved different ideas or funny actions that people had made up for others to enjoy throughout the internet. Not only does someone have to make it up but it could be also memes that people could relate to such as everyday events of their life or it could also be moments from the past that everyone can connect to. There could be games, movies, or the news that memes come from that many may understand but some people wouldn’t understand.

Some examples of some memes would be characters made of different aspects of jokes combined into one. Memes are usually shared throughout the internet and it can become viral or some could become infamous because of how many people hate it.
